I heard of these short shot electric superchargers before. Useless. they weigh a ton & add on the weight of another battery,... All they really do is increase the low end power, one the engine gets into the higher RPM's they cant keep up with the CFM requirments of the engine & loose efficency, hence the 10-15 second "shot". Total waste of time & $$,...
I looked at that link & what I find REAL stoopid is that they are "now using Eaton superchargers". So OK, you're gonna fork over more then $3500 for a supercharger, electric motor, & power source? WTF!?!?! Just buy the damn blower! Duh!
I've said it before, I'll say it again. if electric blowers/turbos were a viable power modification, the auto industry would have made them a LOOOOOONG time ago. Anyone recall a car sold with one? But hey, you can get damn near anything with a turbo, & several stock models with superchargers. Gee, imagine that.
Ya gonna believe some boner on Ebay or with a free web page on Geocities, or the multi billion dollar automotive manufacturing industry? Please people,...
[ July 08, 2003: Message edited by: Freq2002 ]

yeah it weighs a ton. 45lbs according TKT. It would be surprising if it even produced enough power to make up for the loss of hp caused by the added weight.
