Uh Oh... prepare for the b----ing & complaining to start over that price now that its been listed.

I think its pretty fair... but people are going to start saying that "they can go custom for less than that..." or "I will buy that next summer" (which means never), "it should be closer to $1700"

Whatever... I dont own a 6-cyl so this kit doesnt apply to me.

It could have been $500 and people would still complain.

a complete kit doesn't sell for less.. The kit is the same price as the probe kit btw..People didn't want to make a custom kit (I guess that's why there's so few of us v6 turboed) that's why it is so interested.

I guess for a group buy these prices could lower a bit.

even if there is a 300 dollar price-break for this groupbuy, thats still different from what was originally perceived

the original plan was 700-800 for the hotpipes and another 200-300 for coldpipes + price of intercooler, i didn't even think the additional turbo, wastegate, etc. would be an option here.

i hope u choose to offer JUST the hot, JUST the cold, and then the addition of the rest as options for people, b/c some people might only want one or the other.

Gro hot pipes for 700-800 was in the BB on mx6.com
cold pipes are actually harder to make than the hot pipes. I guess around 400 for the cold pipes. Add a 300$ intercooler and you're sitting at 1500us$ but that was for BB price on the hot pipes.
Now Oscar posted teh regular price on it.
once the BB will be settle it'll be cheaper than that.
If you want a bolt on turbo kit pay for it, or else built it yourself.
Look for honda kits and other cars like that, their kit are well over 4k$

Get it to $999.99 and I'll start scrounging. 626 is paid off Jan 1st, so money should free up by then. I'd think you could get this down even cheaper if you used the factory exhaust log and started the kit with just bigger downpipes from there. I don't see the need for SSAutochrome header style exhaust logs since it can do nothing but add another $150 to the price.

I'll also include the option for hot pipes only and cold pipes only.

In no way is this intended to put you on the spot GRO, but it is a bit contradictory and counterproductive. It is hard enough to get a successful GB going here.

We are all trying our hardest to bring this to the community at the best possible price.

If I took this out of context, I apologize.

The Price is right, The problem is with the customers :)
Come on now, let's be realistic. If we were all rich here, we would be driving M3's and Porshes not an old MX3 Beaters ;)

When I get all my money together ( Next Summer- as someone said ) I will buy one.

thats funny i drive a turbo storm looked for another nice body style (mx3), im sure ppl driving anything, are saying the same thing god im stuck with this honda if i was rich i would get a ----- thats why people drive them there afforable for everyday people heh. gotta make with what u like and got. i didnt know what i was buying when i got the storm the body looked like a bullit its a stanarded so turbo is a good power adder. got it couldnt find spit on it. ive been in more buy ins then prolly every be for any car.

stormowners have gone threw over 5 buy in for full body kits never got it. this is NO body kit offered less its abs and bolts to stock bumpers.

finally we got 8 people and got with http://www.extremedeminsions.com and looks to be going threw just need someone to drop there storm off for molding.

if i was rich i would still buy a used car any type of tuner car just cause i love to work on them and make them into something looks nice and goes fast.

no offense to anyone in what i have typed not trying to drag anyone down from what ive said but if u didnt want it or like it u wouldnt get it or work on it.

cant wait for the turbo kit soon..

how much retail for just the turbo kit no intercooler kit

and how much for just the intercooler kit. turbo kit i will buy but i think in long run i can save money on custom setup for intercooler. i know help the owners out get the full kit dunno if i could get that much money or try to save it without looking @ a stand alone for my storm and a block compont upgrades...

No, if you look at the pics the turbo piping doesn't hang below the bumper and you shouldn't have the car so low that you drag the bumper anyway.
