It's actually easier to go to Pick n Pull and repalce it than to install that anti-drop bracket. You can use the stabilizer from either a GS or an RS or a 90-94' protege. The stabilizer rod is the same, the only differences are in the shift change rod so just put your shift change rod into any of those stabilizer rods and you're good.

my GS has one, I hate it. It has a high pitch squeak that drives me crazy. I have to pull it apart and find out why.

My '93 does as well, there's slight vertical play with the bracket installed. As for the shifter linkage itself, I slipped with the drill when I was modifying the 3rd link... Oversized hole and some excess play due to that.

As of July 2012 no they were no longer available for the MX-3.

these are easy enough to make though, just grab some flat metal bars from home depot or whatever, cut 2 pieces, bend them and put some epoxy and stick them together and drill a hole

A 1lb can will fix your shifter and fill all your engine mounts as well.

that's kind of what i did, i just did it WAYYYY more ghetto lol

Personally I hate silicone. I think it's the most over rated crap on the market. I highly recommend finding a good two part rubber system however a lot of people have commented on using JB weld to repair stuff like engine mounts. I've just never heard any comments 6 months later to hear if it's holding up ok.

I still have some polyutherane, its shore A60 in hardness.

There's about half an inch of space between the bar and the bracket. Is it supposed to be tight against it?

The car shifts ok, but i've got a scratching/ringling noise coming from somewhere over there (only under acceleration and high speed, not at idle or revving in neutral so its hard to locate, I'll post a video of the noise later Edit: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_twTNrki ... e=youtu.be). The bar is touching de exhaust. And also the endlink (shifter Gearbox side) is a little loose i guess.
