I believe we'll receive a "tentative due date" at time of production. So far we've been informed they're still under design. Until they've finalized the design of their product and work out any of the prototype issues, I doubt we'll have a satisfactory date. We can throw numbers out there, such as Q4 of '07, but as any manufacturer knows and consumer can expect, that date can be pushed to Q2 '08 very quickly. This is not uncommon.


Please consider the amount of cynics in regards to headlights.
I believe for this product to succeed, A-Toy (or you, whichever) is going to have to pull a strong launch. This will have to be an accurate date and in depth detail in to the actual product. Not to mention it'll have to be given some time in advance.

If you supply us with a launch date that is months off, don't be suprised when the cynics run from the woodwork and yell, "I told you this product will never make it" and deterr many other possible customers.

So while I'm anxious to know approximately when they're due myself, I think it wise that we shut up until A-Toy has quite a concrete date to which we can base our expectations on.

just so you guys know the only way this won't happen is if for some odd reason they suddenly realize that the lights simply cannot be made... I can think of no hurdle that could suddenly pop up to keep them from being made. The only thing A-toy is asking is that we get at least 10 people to buy the lights so that they will be able to make some money off of this.

well some pics would be very helpful, otherwise u wont be able to get 3 ppl let alone 10.

pics won't come till it is either in the full prototype phase or maybe not even until they do a test fit on the mx-3 they have

just sent andy an email today to see what the word was.... they've had the lights for just under 8 months now but haven't done much cause they have been so busy. it sucks... but at the same time because of the engine swap I don't have a lot of money so if this takes a bit longer i'm ok... as soon as he sends prototype pics i'll let you guys know

If they need a mx-3 to test fit the lights... they can send them to me and I'll do some testing

yeah, the time delay is ridiculous to say the least, if they were really serious about it, a month would've been more than enough to at least have some sort of prototype. my hopes are really low on that one, i mean why is it so complicated to make an OEM like housing, shove a couple projectors in, put in a good harness, put a nice cover and a clear lens... bleh, im sick of these posts, honestly if this one doesnt go through i think those posts should be banned unless there is a prototype, like why post a year before you start working on something lol, maybe it will be another year before they make it, and then one more for us to get it, and another year for us to kick and scream about delivery delays and problems with the product , man i feel better now lol

Give him a break guys. It took me a year to come up with the final design of my projectors. Granted I was working on them in my spare time and didn't work on them constantly, but you have two options. Keep waiting and give support or give up and they definately will never make anything.

My fingers are still crossed. Let me know when the prototype is ready.

i really hope it goes through i mean we all do, its just that we have had nothing to show us that it could happen, like not even a drawing or even a little sharing of ideas, like for all we know this guy might not care, maybe he does, but he's definitely not showing it, it just bugs me every time i check on here i find that there is no real development, trust me i want those headlights like crazy and that's what's driving me nuts, in any case i hope this goes through
