RX-8 is a HP flop!

Post by Sean Mandell »

I have read that some RX-8's are only getting 180whp. Mazda has officially lowered HP #'s. This is tragic and I hope they smarten up cause I don't like hearing about how slow the RX-8 really is.

Well, thats quite a bit of difference if they were claiming around 238 to begin with. But with most engines, the engine won't performe to its fullest potential until AFTER the break in period. I've seen it with the new 350Z, a gain of around 10whp in the manual transmission model, at the wheels as proven by the dyno.
