hey everyone, i was wondering if anyone could give me instructions on how to install new automatic seatbelts in my girls 92 mx3... she brought it to the dealer and they grave her some kinda crap that they can only give her the parts but they'll charge 280 bucks for labor. so ima do it for her. im jus trying to gather info on how to do it to make things easier and quicker due to the fact im not familiar with mazdas at all

Try the on-line shop manual man. Under body. It should have a schematic and instructions on how to . . . <BR>Good luck.<P>one

its really not hard. Take the molding/plastic around the door off, and the plasic on the side in the back seat. Then unplug the wires in the front near the windshield and unplug the wires in the back near the motor. Then just unbolt it, I think its 2 bolts holding the motor and about 5 holding the seatbelt frame. And to take the seatbelt motor off after you unbolt it lift and put cause its kinda slips in. And change what you need to change or fix and replace the same way. It shouldn't take to long to do if you have all the parts and tools. I replaces my whole track and motor, with the track and motor I got out of a car in a jung yard and it only took me 45 minutes, without any directions and no idea what I was doing.<P>Goodluck
