Need Help Installing Car Alarm and Stereo

Okay, I'm getting started installing all new stereo equipment and an alarm in my car. When I bought the car a couple months ago all of the speakers and the stereo had been removed. Anyway my main problem is that I can't find any speaker wires. The wires run from the door inside the car, but I can't find where they are inside the car. I am planning on rerunning these once I can find where they originally go inside the car. I am having the same problem with my door lock wires since they come into the car at the same place as the speaker wires. Any help would be great. Also I've looked in my Chilton and can't find anywhere that shows where these wires would be located either.
