timing advance?

Post by psurollsovau »

theres some new product on ebay that claims it advances your timing by telln your engine that the air coming in is colder than what it is. is this like a chip or what? wouldnt that screw s--- up if the engine thouht the air was colder and it wasnt. if it wont sounds to me like its an extra 20hp just waitn. just thought id ask before jumping the gun. dont want my rings to melt from burning too hot. It's basically a resistor that messes with either your coolant temp sensor or IAT sensor. I would hesitate from feeding you ECU incorrect information by using these resistors unless you really know all the consequences...

EVeryone who is looking at the Timing Advancement on ebay, DONT BUY IT!! Its for your own good Not to Bid on that product. He seems like a creep, Did you read all the Negative Feedbacks he has? And in his replys on the negative feedback he is rude and replys like a little kid. Its got to be fake, because if you mess with the Mazda's timing, the computer will reset it back to normal. The guy is saling the same product for hondas and toyotas, (If he really has something to sale) If you must get this so called 20 hp additive, get part #'s, the companies name of manufacter and contact the distributor who makes the product. DONT get Scammed by this guy. Save your money for a cold air intake, or performance plug wires or something that is proven to add horsepower. Maybe not 20hp for $10, but hp is expensive so you should know $10 is too good to be true,
For the sake of all Mx'ers,
DONT BUY FROM THIS SELLER ON EBAY!!!
Chris
