Power Folding mirror removal

Post by kulluminati777 »

Does anyone know what all do i need when removing the folding mirrors out of a eunos presso? I got the mirrors and switch but i cant find the relay anywhere. Do i really need to take out the dash or could i remove it without doing so.

I don't think the mirrors would need a relay. I don't recall seeing one, but if so equipped, you'd shouldn't have to remove the dash to remove it.

I remeber seeing folding mirrors for sale somewhere on google and it had the relay that looked like the flasher relay but it was a blue box instead of grey and said folding mirrors on it. I dont think it was for a presso. It was for a 323 or some other mazda. I already removed the switch and mirrors but i would think there is more somewhere im missing. I hope not because i soon wont have the presso any more so i wont be able to grab anything else later :( :(

No more Presso? :crying:
Are these standard mirrors? or power-folding mirrors? I get the feeling I'm missing or over-looking something here...

Yes there should be a relay under the dash, just follow the wires

Although I didn't use relays when I installed mine

oh man, if you didnt have to use relay cool but the wires from the switch doesnt go to the usual fuse box area like you would think it goes all up into the HVAC area and i wold have to take the dash out to get there. But if you didnt use the relay cool they should work with out them.

hmmm that's interesting. It almost sounds like they were put on aftermarket then or something. Those 2 wires are probably going straight to the mirror on the other side of the car for the folding function. That's how I ran mine...

Alright! Haha, I keep forgetting there are so many cool things that the Presso MIGHT have, and the list is pretty long... How about the trunk speakers, are the panels on the sides full length, or flap style?
