Rock Auto

Post by cWs306 »

So today i ran a test on my ignition module too. the 2nd part from rock auto and its also SHOT. like im talkin shot shot shot! no chance in hell it was remanded or anything in that manner. and they wont even replace the ignition module. this is bullsh*t. so with that being said, anyone who see's this.

NEVER BUY FROM ROCKAUTO.COM!!!!! THEY SELL CRAP PARTS AND HAVE A EVEN WORSE RETURN POLICY!

go to egay, amazon, anything other then rockauto. there prices seem awesome, thats because half there parts r shot. they just seem to clean them n thats it.

I've bought a lot of parts from Rockauto and the one time I wasn't happy with a disty cap they sent me another one for free. Some times with electrical parts it could be assumed your car was at fault and it burned out the part. Check their return policy and warranty. The warranty is listed with the part itself. You do have my empathy. :D

yah ive only boughten 2 parts and they have both been shot :( and i have looked at the return policy n everything. as far as i knew everything was a-okay for a replacement. then the lady in the email told me that they cannot replace the ignition module because its something that they cannot refund or replace. which is a little odd because they wanna replace the effed disty they sent me. ima just send them the disty n the module back in the same box with a picture of the multimeter readings on the module. -.-'

it was an old used wheel bearing that must of gotten returned to them somehow and was sent to me.
Either way, no biggy, i sent them an email last night explaining everything and included pictures and they sent me an email back this morning saying, "This part is clearly defective and we will gladly send you a replacement bearing"
I gave them my email for my rockauto account and they sent an email stating that the bearing was already shipped and on it's way. This was all done while i was sleeping.

I stand by rockauto 100%, i've bought parts from rockauto probably about 10 times total if you include people that i've told to to use rockauto and i've never had an issue except for this issue with the wheel bearing but it was solved in less than 12 hours.
it was probably how your email was written out because i took the time to include every detail and pictures of the item and it was literally solved with one email, no need to go back and forth at all.
