SuperK think that thefez should always reference himself in third person. SuperK would also like to welcome thefez to the forum. I am sure SuperK and the others is curious where thefez lives, to have such a low milage mx3! SuperK is jealous >: (

I know you believe that you understand what you think I said but I'm sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

Thefez was told apon buying said car that a 80k motor was put it after driving for 2 weeks i belive this to be untrue. But the car only has 135k for a 92 i dont thinks too bad over all. Im thinking im going to buy a used 1.8 that has been imported from japan and dump it in. Cars smoking alot:/

I fixed your post. you didn't follow the proper posting guidelines. If you are going to get an engine, get the 2.5l KL and use that. You can either import it and get the KL-ZE with higher HP, or get a local KL DE from a ford probe or mx-6 or the other million cars that use that engine. the DE will definitely be super affordable. You'll keep the same gas milage and get a better, more servicable engine.

It's a drop in swap, so if you're swapping, dooo it.

Sorry I was on my phone while posting.. But to answer your questions from befor, I live in the US(PA) the car has 135K on it as of now..

Thanks for the tip on the swap from reading I honestly think the K8's a better motor in terms of high rev limit and internal strength.. but i could be wong.
