try taking it apart and having a look at it... it might just be a dirty contact or something, or even a problem with the plastic cylinders that push on the contacts of that switch, like what i had... read my attempt at an idiots guide to doing this here:
http://www.mx-3.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.ph ... 0&start=30
Its part way down the last page... i've not finished it yet, but pretty sure it was almost complete...
Otherwise, your window lock switch on the drivers side might be playing up?
Hope this helps somewhat...

[edit] sorry, i just checked the write up i linked you to... it doesnt really have much on the actual insides of the switch, but how to take everything apart to that point...
But basically, for me, one of the white plastic cylinders inside the switch had melted at some point & so was a tad too short to push the contact down. I pulled it out and replaced it with a piece of a scewer wrapped in a plastic straw, believe it or not haahah... works perfectly now

ok, have you checked that the white plastic cylinders are perfectly shaped?
otherwise... i know it sounds stupid... but have you tried checking the lock switch both ways? mine is wired so that when the lock is 'on' the pass side window works... i'd thought that on meant the lock was on, but its not haha...
you could check that the lock is working somehow, that it hasnt died with that window in 'lock' position?

I recommend you first try flicking the 'on/off' switch on the Driver's side unit back and forth while trying with the passenger switch. If this has even a temporary effect, then I would tear apart the DS switch and fix whatever broke in the child-lock switch.

It's also possible the switch itself on the passenger side has failed, I would check that after trying to flick the child lock switch on/off while holding down the button.

If you can get current through the passenger window switch, then your problem is likely in the wiring itself or the DS switch. That's the good thing about electrical, the process of elimination ALWAYS works. :D

Good luck!

It's pretty simple actually. It's the passenger switch itself. What happens is that the driver controlers pass through the passenger switch, which then go to the window motor. If you disconnect the passenger switch, you get nothing.

The passenger switches are apparently prone to failure, but I never had a problem with mine, but my drivers control switch went, but that's besides the point. The switch to lock out the passenger controls is a simple slider, it shouldn't really fail. I eventually put a passenger side switch on my drivers side for my JDM door pannel; the passenger lockout is easy to bypass, just need to remove the switch assembly and join 2 of the connections. I would just replace the passenger switch, I'd bet that's 99% likely to be your problem.

Oh i know all the internal parts of that switch. It's usually the arm on the lever on the DS switch that breaks

Here's the mod I did for mine, I doubt you want to use a passenger switch on the drivers side, but I've got the connections layed out. Could even use it for a temp switch if you need to.

That is NOT how it's supposed to work... Also, if you remove the Master switch, the Passenger one won't control it's window either. Both are needed to complete the circuit, or neither will work. I would look into this after you fix the passenger side switch.
