What exectly do you mean by FL? I can only guess that FL means OBDII, in which case, what year is the mx6 motor?

I want change my Engine ( K8 1.9 V6 ). My MX is 95model FL and i have a other cable harness from ECU to Engine.

I want change the Engine from MX6 2.5V6 ( KLDE 167hp ).

What I have:

Complete Engine with all parts (MX6 ´92)
ECU KL05 (MX6 `92)
CAble Harness K8 (MX3 V6 preFL ´92)

Befor I start the change, i read i many threads i must change the pins from cable harness ( K8 MX3 ´92 ) to work corectly with Engine or ECU.

Aren't the '92 mx6's the 1st generation, at least in north america? But anyway, if you have the '92 harness and ECU you'll be able to just swap harnesses and everything will work.

Since you have the harness out, I would suggest looking over it very carefully, especially at the plugs. The wires tend to break or fray and it will cause really annoying electrical problems. If you see bare wire anywhere, solder in a new connector or wire.

hmm but the Harness from 92 go not only to the ECU also go somewhere else in the Car..and the FL Mx3 (FaceLift Mod 94-98) is not the Same like PreFL (92-94).
On the ECU some Pins is also not the same.
Did nobody swap a 2,5 KLDE Engine in a Mx-3 V6 FL (Facelift) 95´Model??

hmm.... :(

Oh so it means facelift. Both ECU harnesses are interchangeable with the right ECU because they both go to the same spots. What you have will plug right up, I don't know what you're worrying about.

He's likely talking about the ECU not connecting to the front harness, not the engine harness.

Only the engine harness plugs into the ECU, the harness itself has a few plugs that connect it to the gauges and stuff, but that's completely separate from the ECU plugs.

But he's talking about changing engine harness AND ECU, and wondering whether the connectors on the engine harness will connect to the main harness. The main harness is what has the cluster connectors, and I don't know that that harness from the MX-3 will connect to the MX-6 engine harness without relocating pins.

He said that he has an OBD1 mx3 engine harness so that won't be a problem.

So the other connectors that don't go into the ECU don't connect to your current dash harness?

The instrument panel (dash) harness, and the front harness are two different harnesses. The front harness contains the cluster connectors, and connects to the engine harness.

I thought that the dash harness connects to the ECU, isn't it all one big harness that runs alog the inside of the dashboard?. From what I remember the front harness is the one that works the headlights and fans and stuff.

The front harness does go to the headlights and fuse box under the hood, then into the cabin through the driver side firewall, then runs under the dash and connects to the cluster/ignition switch/etc, then back into the engine bay through the passenger side firewall and to the headlights on that side of the car.

The instrument panel harness goes to the blower motor system and controls, radio, headlight/wiper/cruise switches, etc. It is a lot smaller than the front harness, and MUCH easier to remove.

It's all shown in the wiring diagram section of the online manual. This link shows just the front and engine harnesses, and shows where the front harness connects to the cluster:
