Castrol Transmax® Z

Post by zydawn »

just did a rebuild on the power steering and so I thought I would do an oil change on the atx.
the man gave me this stuff Castrol Transmax® Z seemed to be ok for the power steering but was wondering has anyone put it in there atx?

I used up about 1/2 litre allready so i plan to use the other 3.5 litres on the atx. will that be enough?

thanks

It's funny cause they'll search and find these posts, but the ones that they should search for they won't, lol.

Haha this is so funny, I rarely look at the post date unless I'm searching so this is hilarious when someone brings it up! :P

C'mon everyone. You can't mock people for coming on and using the search tool like we ask.

Adain, I would go to your local transmission specialist and get their advice as to what's available in your area. We're not really qualified to say what is available where.

And maybe have a peek at the date of the last post when you are searching and resonding to old threads.
94' RS/GS/MS/CF Monster Turbo...coming soon.

He serves a wonderful example to many members on this site. Kudos. And x2 for what WYT said. Ask the car guys around your local cruise spot where they trust their transmission to be serviced. It is just as much an artform as it is a skill. There will be someone in your area who knows exactly what you'll need, and what will work for you.

I've never even heard of this stuff. For tranny stuff, I use Lucas.. in fact, I use Lucas products for almost all my stuff. Highly recommended!
