Steel Braided Brake Lines

Post by VizualXTC »

What are these for? Is there alot of presure? I doubt it's for cosmetic purposes since nobody can really see them unless they look for them. I don't understand.

old rubber lines will stretch a bit under the pressure of the braking force being applied. This gives a slightly "spongey" feel to the pedal.
The SS lines will help reduce this, and make them feel more "direct".
They wont actually work any better, but the "feel" is better.

It allows the driver to control the car better, without actually increasing performance by itself.
And personally, i think its kinda silly to spend 1000s on body kits, paint, lighting effects, spoilers, wheels larger than 16"...etc.
