Where were all the mx-3s?!

Post by marcdh »

Well I'm just back from an epic road trip with my girlfriend (got the plane over obviously), covering:

Las Vegas
Grand Canyon/Williams
Barstow
Los Angeles
Venice Beach
Santa Monica
Santa Barbara
Santa Cruz
San Francisco

And we saw ZERO mx-3s on the road! Only one red mx in a car sales place in Kingman for $1700. Only thing close was a probe 2.5 in SF.

Poor show, I saw at least 2 in Florida last year :P

You gotta go to Toronto if you wanna see MX3s running around. I hear in Toronto MX-3s are like Civics they're so common.

I like it better this way. At least, a nice mx3 still turns heads.

When was the last time you saw somebody take a second look at a civic?

Are you kidding me? Even in Toronto comparing the presence of MX-3s to Civics is like finding a needle in a haystack!

They're still really common compared to what I've heard from other places, I usually see 1 per day on average. Once I saw at least 5 on a 40 minute long drive.

Haha Toronto was a bit out of reach... Yes I heard somewhere Portland has quite the scene! I expected to see you in Venice Beach juggling fire on a longboard Jesse :P I considered the drive, but 18 hour round trip seemed a bit much to see those northern lesser painted mx3s. Clearly you should have all drove to San Francisco for a photoshoot.
