Yea, just about everything Jesse does is the funniest shyt I've seen.
If he wants to make an intake, he uses cups and just cuts the ends off to make tubing. If he wants a exhaust tip, he uses coffee cans. Next thing you know, He going to install a tv in his car. Only thing is, he'll use an actual house tv. Like the ones with the huge backing on them. lmao

Good job Jesse. You always amaze me. Seriously.

I made a concise mod list on the first page, so people wouldn't have to sift through pages of wierdness, and things that I tried, and changed, in order to know what I've got goin' on.
I may have forgotten a couple things, since I'm far away right now.

Imachu2, I thought about that, and I also thought about mounting it on top, and mating it to the intake runners.
Instead, I'm developing a stand alone air charger. I had a little breakthrough today about it, and am excited to develope it.

Thanks, Smooth, and Whisper!
So...
We went to an RX-7 sponsered dyno day, and I got there early, and was the first one on. He shut it down right away, saying it was running extremely lean (22:1!). I checked the MS VE table, and it was totally screwed... through the whole map, it had the idle values for every part of the map.
It was emberassing; I had to take the car off, and figure out how to load the right table.
It took a little while because I'm computarded.
So, I got it fixed up with a very basic table for a KLDE.
Long story short, I got 161.9WHP @ 6600 RPM (Iguess that's about 188 Crank HP), and 140.7 Torque @ 4500 RPM.
I was running really rich. I'm putting in a wideband O2 sensor on Monday. The only way he knew, was by putting a wideband O2 sensor in my exhaust pipe. He said I could tune about 15WHP with just leaning it out, and a few more tuning the spark.
I was up there with the N/A cars (RX-7s, and 8s), beating alot of the stockish ones.
They're going to post up the list on their (Forged Performance) website.

I'm very close to my 200whp goal :D
This is based on the dyno, and calculation.

Image

So, I ran on the dyno with Ethanol in the gas, which costs HP.
Also, he shut it down before the HP dropped off.
Being on a Mustang dyno, it is around to 15% lower than a DynoJet.
So, if I get 15WHP from leaning it out, and setting the spark, that would be 177HP.
Only 10% more on a DynoJet would be about 195.
If this cautious scenerio plays out, I'm sure I could eek out 5 more ponies! I still haven't successfully put in the MSD CD box.

I just got cross drilled rotors from mooneggs for a price I can afford  Thanks, buddy! They're used, but still have the machine marks on the faces.
Also, I will soon put in the wideband O2 sensor (maybe tomorrow) if I can afford to have the local muffler guy weld in the bung. Soon I'll start street tuning :D :driver:
Today I put in a front AWR solid motor mount. The rear is filled, but cracking. I tried to pull it out, but couldn't without more work than I was ready for. I'm used to letting out the clutch a certain way, but with the AWR, I have to be more careful not to kill the engine, since there's less "give".
I'm still a little bummed that I traded low end power for ultimate power in the high end. It was more fun to drive with instant torque, but once I get used to the high end, it will be worth it.

I got my MFactory LSD today! It's beautiful! I can't put it in until I get a new clutch, though. I have an Exedy that can't take the power as it is. I have only drag raced 2x, but it started slipping on my 3rd run the first time, and now it slips quite a bit :( (Another reason I think I'm close to 200WHP). I can't afford a good clutch, so I'll look longingly at at the LSD for a while.
I put in the Wideband O2 system, and put the sensor into the #4 runner. It seems to work well, but I'm going to move it to the final collector, to read all the cylinders. Mooneggs came over and lent his driving skills, so I could read the AFR, and try to tune the MS. We went through all the possible areas of manifold pressure, and RPM, and it's running well as far as AFR, but there is some room for improvement.
Also, my girlfriend's Dad works with computers and programming, and is going to read about MegaSquirt, and translate it for me. I thought it would have some easy to use interface, but it doesn't. I've read the MegaManual 5 times, and the tuning manual 2x, and the language is so foreign to me, that I can't make sense enough to do any actual tuning.

I don't know.. I just paid 3 days ago.
Yeah, I want to move the sensor soon. It's reading leaner than the sensor at the Dyno read, so it's safe.

Check this out Jessie. http://fastskinz.blogspot.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Golf ball dimpled film that has been proven to reduce drag, increase lap times and save fuel. Only one question remains does it come in flat black??

Good find. That's the kind of out of the box thinking that could cause you to end up like me :?
Before I clicked the link, I was thinking of M/C helmets back in the day that were dimpled like that. Then I was thinking of the swimsuits they use in the Olympics. If you don't wear one, you don't win.
Thanks for the link!
