Re: Vancouver/Portland meet #2
I don't want to burst your bubble, but it will hurt your prformance. I wasn't going to say anything if you put it on already, but since you havent..
It won't make your car sound any better than the proper size. You could go a little bigger, if you open your intake, but not much. I have a 2.5L V6, and I only have 2¼" exhaust, because that's what gives me the best performance. You should get a header, and 2" exhaust with a good catback. Do you remember my exhaust? I had a Magnaflow muffler, and resonator tip. I took it off, and you can buy it, if you want performance, and a good sound. For the money you'd put into a custom 2½" exhaust, you could have a great sounding setup that actually gives you a few HP. Trust me on this

Re: Vancouver/Portland meet #2
the reason i was going to do 2.5 is so when my motor blows up in the next six months and i swap a bp i dont have to mess with it later and i plan on puttin some money into the bp so idk in my head it all made sence to go with 2.5 i know its going to be too much now. and the reason im doing my exhaust now is becasue its all corroded and has like ten leaks in it.

Re: Vancouver/Portland meet #2
Okay. That makes sense, but I don't know what the right size would be for the BP. I know the info's in here somewhere.

Re: Vancouver/Portland meet #2
If we get the hatches done, and I get the tune right, and gut my car, we should have a similar power/ weight ratio..
Oh, except I weigh about 1½ of you.
I wish I could eat salad.
