Keith and I have been working on redoing my hood for about a week...here is what is used to look like...

The paint was coming off...and although you can't really see it...the molding around the hood scoop looked AWFUL...

Here is the beginning of the body work...

I removed the emblem and did this part of the hood myself, thanks for the lessons Keith.

The hood still needs to be wet sanded again and buffed.

Keith did a great job...much thanks to him. Some late nights, Sushi, beer and Salt & Vinegar chips helped us thru.

wow! great job on the hood!
i'm not a huge fan of where/how the hood scoop is placed but you've done an awesome job with it!...btw i like the car too! looks mean with that intercooler visible!!

any particular reason the hood scoop was placed where it is?

I think he is running a b6t, so the throttle body/intake runs on-top of the motor, thus sitting higher than the hood. My guess, correct me if I am wrong :D

good job effort. If you need any paint/bodywork advice let me know.
