custom dash piece

Post by ninjajim4 »

hey guys,

i have a smart cord for my radar detector and i want to put it in the spot in between the power mirror controls and the light dimmer, where ppl put the fog light button when they have it.

i pulled out the blank and took some side by sides with the smart cord controls. as you can see, they're a very close match. i was just looking for suggestions for what to use to fill out the corners and make it look right or what i might use to create a bezel for it. i thought i'd carve up the blank, but it's basically too close a match and i'd end up with almost nothing left of it.

thanks!

You can cut a peice of aluminum out (drill and dremmel) , and wrap it with vinyl

A peice of wood wrapped in vinyl

A peice of plastic wrapped in vinyl

A peice of fiberglass wrapped in vinyl

carbon fiber. NOT wrapped in vinyl

haha..lots of choices.
