Will the axle and the lower control arm off a 6cyln. fit

I just recently got a axle and a lower control are for my car, as i found out the car the parts came off of was a v6. My car is a 4cyln. i was woundering if anyone know if the parts would still fit my car, or did i waste my money.

I pretty sure the control arms are the same but the axels are differn't, but don't take my word for gold.
