It's not bucking like as if I didn't use enough throttle, but its almost like a elastic version of the same thing. As though when I change gear the engine is bouncing and the transition of the shift is being dampened making the car feel bouncy if I try anything even remotely spirited.
I'm guessing it's a bushing problem, Thought I'd ask here before I splash out on all the various bushings SRD offer.
I had some bushings done at my 160,000 mile service to stop the gear stick from jerking forwards and backwards 2-3" when accelerating, there is still a fair bit of left-right play, but the gearstick doesn't jump around as much as it used to.
The car almost feels like it is doing what the gearstick used to be doing and moving back and forth under load.
Hope my explanation made some kind of sense. I'm great at driving but only just started playing with the mechanical side, and its hard to describe the bouncy sensation I'm getting when changing gear.
Any info regarding how to fix ths would be great
If it is the bushings, which ones are most likely to have to be replaced?
