Hard to say. The only other option is the 4.11:1 from the Mx-6/626. Is it quicker in the 1/4 mile? WE've had mixed opinions and experiences on that. Technically, shorter gears should be quicker for acceleration, but a well-tuned KLZE will use 5th gear. The longer gearing from the Mx-6/626 could let you stay in 4th gear longer, and not use 5th. Although 4th is taller on the 4.11 than the 4.38 on the Mx-3/Probe, it's still shorter than 5th. As well, having taller gears means you get to stay on your max powerband longer. It's a tough call. I do know of one Mx-6 owner who tried both and was quicker using the 4.38. There was a discussion we had on it a few months ago, may be a worthwhile read.
