Well you could always do what I did when I converted my GS from an ATX to an MTX.. It wasnt pretty.. but.. in the end.. it worked out rather well for me.. I bribed a friend with a steak dinner at a local steakhouse so I wouldnt have to lay upside down in the car for 2 hours. If the steak dinner hadnt worked.. you might have to hire a stripper.. I was prepared to do so for him.. This may seem extreme.. but I REALLY didnt want to have to do that job after I took one look under my dash LOL

 Wish I could be of real help but in the same situation, would be more likely to take Tune's approach so on pedal uninstall, I am useless.

yeah you better get comfy on your back.

I would recommend taking out your driver seat to make it a bit more comfortable.

Its a pain.

to remove the complete pedal box assy.

Remove master cylinder / brake booster assy
Remove master cylinder clutch

there are six nuts on the firewall you have to undo

remove drivers seat. ( and assume the position with a socketset in reach )

under the dash you have to unplug
the brake pedal light switch
the clutch switch? ( yea i know ?? but there was one on mine )

unbolt the lower steering colum support ( two bolts )
unbolt the pedal assy upper ( two nuts )

volia should be able to move the assy forward then out.

Should be noted that RX7 S1-3 323, RX3, 323 and MX3 pedal boxs are the
same in design.

after going and looking at my collection of parts

All FWD cars ie 323/familia/protege/mx3 on BG chassis share the same
pedal boxes

The ford equivalt of the BG chassis will fit as im using a ford steering
rack

RX7 S1-3 ( or Gen 1-3 ) fit into RX3
RWD 323's fit into RX3
