Crashed my car

Post by 2RotorsNaDream »

Crashed my teal project car last night after only having it for 5 months so now it looks like I might step out of the MX3 game for good. I got no luck with these cars. How else do you explain being involved in a 3am 7 car pileup because of oil on every lane of both sides of the highway? In total 15 cars were involved on both sides of the highway. I'm looking for good deals on a new MX-3 with a blown motor or other problems to replace this one or I may end up getting the MS3 or an Eclipse GSX. I'm still tryin to decide right now.

 That is some seriously bad luck. I've always felt certain cars are just doomed.

Some cars you treat like crap and they somehow hold strong; others you treat well and something like that happens. It's depressing.

There are definitely some bad-luck cars on this board.

TExas Hector and Chicago Jim primary examples.

Hey i still take number one on the bad luck list.. started after the kfze swap aaa.. lets see, car has been destroyed by fire, water... whats next ..maybe sucked up by a mud slide or wind. Oh wait its been damaged by wind when a tent flew and fell on my car.

As a consequence i have learned ALOT of precautionary measures! When i drive i am very VERY aware of my surroundings... doubt everything!! haha kinda like that movie whats it called? where people cheat death and death is out to get them They made like 3 movies.

no no no, its not that you have bad luck its that you havent appeased the god mazda with a sacrifice, now you have and the god will be pleased :) Glad your ok, and oh for those who dont understand the mazda god referance:

In Anceitn Iranian Zoroastrian religion, Ahura Mazda was the sky god, god of wisdom and god of order.

Its good to take a class on religion :)

Some cars have something wrong with them that has nothing to do with mechanics. Take my Dodge Caravan. I got it for $1000 and nothing has needed to be done to it in the eight months I've owned it... but in the same time I've got three tickets(the first three tickets in the five years I've been driving). Now if I'm driving my van you don't want to get behind me because I drive EXACTLY the speed limit, or less (I don't want another 5 miles over the speed limit ticket :? ).

I have a good feeling about my MX-3 though. It was a total with almost 300,000 miles on it and still idled, drove, and handled well when I brought it to the shop(AND, the AC worked and coolant didn't leak despite being squished by the upper tie bar... I was impressed). I just hope it won't be the cop magnet my van is when I'm done with it.

By the way, would it be appeasing the Mazda god when you spend almost $1500 on a $2500 car? That's not including the 20 hours of body work I got into it either.

Look at my signature, the Mazda god has a few sacrifices from me. He just seems to want more. Every Mazda has been involved in some sort of freak accident.
