What do you mean by this? Inserts for what? The front seats or the back seats? Which part of the seats? When I get home off my deployment, I am going to get all my seats reupholstered...

i'm still looking for a picture that i can upload and show you guys that an all red interior does work, and in fact is much more classy. i have yet to choose different shades of red from ACC to receive as samples, since yes i'm concerned about maintaining the exact same shade of red from the dash to the carpet to the seats, which will make me fussy since different "chemicals" will be done to do these different applications and yet the exact same shade is important all around. i still have to do more research, ask people in person. i don't want the cheap leather look where creases are apparent. ferrari's don't come like that at all, not even the rx-8 8)
and no offence but that red and black setup in that particular MX-3 is definately not for me. it looks so cheap and hand-made, not nearly as appealing as the show cars i've seen in magazines. i have nothing against red and black together, but the materials to do that particular car must've been under a budget. and zee to that obsolete logo plastered to the seat-heads!!! sorry if i've hurt any feelings. i'll cast myself out of society now

Cobra Misano L: if only i knew the exact leather used on these... coz i love the mold of my 92 stock seats anyway

that's my red and black setup and you're the only person i've heard that's had a negative comment towards it. i have no issue with constructive criticism, but your comments make no sense. the seat covers were professionally made and have a much tighter fight than the oem covers did. what makes you say that it must've been under a budget?

most of the people on this site would agree that the older emblem is much nicer than the current one. you're going to run into the same problem i did with matching reds. under lighting condition they look the same, but under a different light, they look completely different. that's why i'm going to probably change my carpet again or get the seat cover inserts changed in the future.

btw, i'm not mad, just curious to understand your point of view

That sounds like something a pimp with a 1987 Cadillac Eldorado and a velour interior would say.

"most of the people on this site would agree that the older emblem is much nicer than the current one. " I agree with that! :2thumbsup:

I like what you have done with your interior, and I would like to eventually get the mazda flame emblem put into my seats headrest...but I think I wanna go for an understated all black interior......but my minds always changing....[/quote]

hey man, i never said you were "supposed to like it". i haven't built my car and expected everyone to like it. i was just interested to know why you felt that my seats looked cheap because they weren't. i like to know what people don't like because it helps me figure out ways to improve the overall look and quality of my car.

btw, the red is a suede material, so it will never appear uniformly textured and maybe that's why you said what you did?

ahha oh man

u know why that it looks clean and proffesional is because of the colour choice.... and how they contrast.. ovendenks colours i'm not saying make it look like cheap like us ay but black and red arent going to give u the same amount of clean feeling as blacka nd red do also its texture that changes that also... so what ur saying is by ur logic is that solid red is going to look like absolute shat?
