okay i took my two ladies to the track today ....my wife and victoria... my car....anyway i had two runs but i dont know how to feel ... my first run was vs a modded very well tunned talon tsi boosting 10 psi ..... i took him by maybe half a car...WTF.... then i raced a modded 2002 trans am and he beat me by a car :cry: ... maybe not even that.... after all this work i've put in, (1) is this what i should expect or should i be expecting more.... i finally got good launch on drag radials at about 4k rpms so im good on that now...(2) but seriously is this a bad thing???? (3) if i get headers (i know i know i SHOULD already have them) would i catch that TA???

What was your 1/4 time? That's the real question.

I'd be happy with those results. Did you feel that the race with the TA was run pretty well and he just beat your car and not your driving?

well i can shift pretty well in my opinion as a matter a fact a got it on tape if i can figure out how to post it i will ....i think his car just out powered mine...how much horse power do those come with .......the times werent up so i dont know he said he ran a 15 flat though....so that might give you an idea

what track were you at? What were your times? What was your 60 foot time?

it was at a local race track ...Desert Demonz.... i ran 15.7 on street tires (17" kuhmo ecstas) but i just got some drag radials G FOrce and used them on the stock mx-3 rims so im not sure what my times are now .......i used to slip alot so im expecting a 15 flat around there

Dude..desert demon's times are fudged... go to the one on montana..its more expensive but more accurate.

MX-3 w/ curved neck millenia klde, boosted @ 5 psi. /bov and wastegate are good!/ nitto drag radial/ gutted interior/ millenia red top injectors, vortech fmu/aem wideband/ all bolts ons/ Car put together 100% by me. Mechanic? who needs a mechanic? ew.. real men work on their own cars!

That blows that the track times arn't accurate, hows that happen? Anywhos post those time slips, start there.

i see a patern.. ur car did high 15 mine did low 17 ouch.. defenetly those times are off... how can that be with our mods... now my car is running ok... and with my mods im at 17? bull!!! and our elevation sucks..i checked and its over 4000 feet!! ouch on times...
