I have a 95 mx-3 4cyl. and every time I put the car in D or R it goes dead I tried rasing the motor speed I check all the fluid's I even tried putting a high air flow fliter on it . it moved.. but very slow ..can somebody tell me what is the matter with my car I just got it started 3 months ago... deep down inside I think it's the trans.... but I don't want to be right :cry:

Could be your gas filter. Have you replaced it before?
If you fall, then get back up........Luck favors the prepared

Have ya taken off the large rubber ribbed intake hose and inspected closely 360* for hairline cracks between the ribs? Common overlooked problem that can cause your described symptoms. When the car is put into gear, the motor flexes a bit in it's mounts, momentarily pulls that hairline crack open = extra unmetered air entering the intake stream, the ECU doesn't sense the airflow increase so the extra air causes a too-lean fuel mixture = stalling. Might not be the prob but costs nothing to check it and a temporary repair can be made with a wrap of duct tape around any cracks til the hose is replaced...

Had this prob years ago on my '90 MX-6 and drove me nuts looking for fuel supply probs til I finally figured out the crack on the underside of the ribbed hose.
