I just ordered new MX-3 strut mounts from partsamerica.com
For some reason, they came up less expensive ($29.99 each) when I typed in my old zip in Nevada vs. $41.99 for Chicago, so I typed in I lived in Nevada still and they gave me that price plus free shipping. I believe the Monroe Strut-Mate Mounting Kit also comes with new strut bearings at that price. I guess I'll find out when they get here. If they include strut bearings, I find that deal hard to pass up as I've seen just the boot cost $30 some places.

Isn't that what I just said? A strut mount and a strut bearing????therealstasman wrote:Could you let me know what else comes in this kit? Strut mounts and strut bearings that go into the upper spring perches? Thanks.lakersfan1 wrote:As a follow up to finalize my thought in this thread, yes the Monroe Strut Mate Mounting Kits come with strut bearings as well. They're a pretty good deal. I just bought a second for my other side at PepBoys locally, and that was only $32 locally.
