1.5 or 1.7 is pretty common and looks really good. dont go cheap when buying lowering springs, you get what you pay for as proven in a recent post comparing a cheap lowering kit (from ebay i believe) with the stock springs....the pictures spoke for themselves.

If your on a budget go with B+G or ST (Susppension Techniques) Or if you can afford to spend an extra $100 buy the Eibachs.
All 3 sets of springs have good feedback on here. So whichever way you go if you choose the 3 above you wont go wrong and your money will be well spent.
My understanding on these 3 springs is. B+G and ST springs are a softer ride more ment for looks than performance. Were as the Eibachs are stiffer and ment more for performance. Atleast i belive thats whats been posted before in the past.
Either way. B+G, ST or Eibach. I would mention H&R but they are more exspensive than the Eibachs.

Good choice. I have them in mine with no regrets. You do realize that the ride will be less comfortable. Meaning stiffer, feeling bumpier. That's the price of lowering. I mated my B&G's with new KYB struts also. A world of difference to the handling when also accompanied by strut tower bars.Bochek wrote:looks like the b+g ones are the ones for me. im not going to be racing the car. its only got the 1.6 sohc engine.
thanks for all your help!
