94 MX-3 Precidia swap

Hi i have just recently crashed my mx-3 and have to redo the front end and since its apart i want to change out my 1.6l DOHC for a faster and more powerful engine. i dont know what i should do, i would like to put in a 1.8l but i want one that is capable of using a turbo. i am new to mx-3 and i absolutly love mine, can someone please help me i would appreciate any information to help me decide on what i should do, i need to know, what engine is best, what ill need to do to swap it out for different trannys and axles and such, thanks to anyone that gives me help, please help this mazdafreak. thanks

I also forgot to add where would i find a good engine to swap in, i am very curious to know, also thanks again to anyone that can help me
