Changing Dialsl......Help
Has anyone got a step by step on how to fit a Carbon Fibre Bezel and Reverse Indiglo Dials?
Im just waiting to recieve them and then fit them, I dont want to break the plastic Dial cover or any needles so a little help would be very useful.
Thanks in advance....

Suprised this subject is not in the faq forum as it seems to be a regular mod and common subject.
Anyhow I take some notes to try and explain the pics.

i was so close to a succesful installaton and the broke the fuel meter !!!
im proper glum!! so what are the options for me now. ? Is there anywhere that can repair this?? or do i have to buy another cluster.?
Im proper glum!! can you take out the fuel part off a good cluster and reinstall it into mine as i dont want to change the whole cluster as it shows the cars true mileage.

Im a bit behind now as waiting for new cluster, ive done the wiring for now that was nice and simple, i just put a round crimp lug on the black, and connected that to a screw directly behind the temp/fuel guage onto the metal bodywork.
As for the red this goes onto the red/black cable on the dimmer switch. ( should have three cables, red, black, and red and black at dimmer ). I used a splice crimp for this you just lay the two cables in the lug and a spade pushes through the pvc insulation to make the join. a small flat blade screw driver around the front of the dimmer will release it, unclip connection. Then i put my hand up the dash from by the pedals and pulled the connection into the footwell to make it easier to work on.
In the uk we are only blessed the the square boring dash!! not the one with the round air vents. This dash is nice and simple to work on theres three screws under the steering wheel holding on the plastic trim. Then theres 5 screws that hold the instrument cover in place ( unclip the hazard and rear heater connections ) then theres 4 screws that hold the cluster in place. Behind the cluster there are three conection plugs ( small wrists required ! ) unplug these and the clusters out.
