do you mean bpt swap or reguloar bp? becasue the k8 is sligly faster than the bp. If its a bpt...then yes its way way WAY faster than a k8. I think even better than klze

There's been some weights posted before, while the K8 has an aluminium block, it also has way more crap attached to it

K8 = 123Kgs ( dry no oil or water or accessories or flywheel )

Inlet Mainafold Assy 15kgs
Alternator = 5kgs
P/S Pump Assy = 3kgs
A/C Pump = 6.5kgs
Tensioner Bracket Assy = 1kgs
Flywheel = 7.0kgs (stock no clutch assy)

Now a "stock" cast iron 4 cylinder block bare weights in at
70 kgs from memory....

Well I have beaten a manual bp mx3 on my k8.. not sure if that answers any questions... also well the driver has alot to do with it. My car had more acceleration than the other car. This was done a few times. I just love it when the vris solenoids open up... before they open it looked as if he was goping to win, but as soon as they opened booom...he was a bit behind.
