The owner Mark hasn't posted on the board for a while but if you need to ask him any questions he usually checks his email regularly.

Yes that is my car and I am the Manager of 2 Future shop Car Installation Shops in Ontario, St.Catharines and Hamilton (Stoney Creek.)This is my car and I will probably just keep hitting the shows with it and keep competing with it accross Canada and the US. I have recently had a custom carbon fiber hood made for it but that will probably be the most I will do to the car this year because I will be building my new project(Supercharged GSR) and will not have much time to do anything else to the car this year. If you have any questions about the car or whatever just email me and I will try my best to get back to you.
Thanks

Depends on what type of sponsorship you get. It coul dbe full, or half or whatever the company agrees to. Usually if its full they give you their producs for free, but in turn you have to make a nice install, and go to a certain amoun tof shows a year to advertise their product and set up the car in the booths. If you fail to do this then they revoke the contract. So you gotta plan on going to alot of them if you get sponsored.
Some companies will only give you a discount, and help pay for a portion of it, then you gotta do the rest, just depends who you go with.
And some companies are really picky and only give out like 1 or 2 sponsorships to hardcore people who have been in it for awhile, and know they will show off their product well.

Well Matt has kinda covered most of the sponsor ship parts well and is totally right in the amount that sponsors will give you depending on what you are going to do for them in return. I have been on the competitive show circuit for 4 yrs and have won tons of awards and been in a few magazines so the sponsors see this and want to advertize their products in a car that is noticed by the major public inorder to sell their product in return. The Show circuit is the best way to inquire about sponsor ship and the best way to meet tons of other car guys and girls that may also be able to hook you up with sponsors and other benificial stuff for your ride. You will win awards if your car is well done and Money and awards if your car is a top car.
Trust me...Nothing is ever for free..there is always something expected in return :D
MX-3 Extreme

ya well im in a car club from windsor and our sponsors give us like 20-30% discounts on things we buy from them and usually if we need an install we get it for pretty cheap, it helps out a lot.
and OMG that is one awesome mx-3 !!!!
