Q for guys with ST springs and zx2

Post by babyblueMX3 »

Hi guys this is just a quick question..I bought suspension techniques spring and now looking for zx2 struts..I would apreciate if somebody could measure the height between the bottom of the front fender to the ground...i'm just scared I'll get too low with my Pak front end..it's 1.3 (springs) + .5 (struts) drop...I forgot that the strut gave me a .5 more drop..I just don't want to scrape the road with my Pak front end...so i need just a quick measure...
tahnx guys

ya dude.. my experience with zx2's is that they dont have much power. i just dont see what the big deal is. the piston goes really low, so they will alow a lower drop like with ST springs, but you'll be riding on springs alone. LOL so make sure u have stiff springs or you'll bottom out 10 times a day like i do. good luck anywayz.. i've heard good stuff bout ST

Ummm i don't know why my post was deleted...but i did respond to this thread with an answer.

It's exactly 5 inches from the bottom of the front fender to the ground.

- I have suspension technique lowering springs paired with ZX2 struts on a 1992 mx-3 GS.

17-19" lmao you're not even close. It's exactly 24" from the top of the wheel well to the ground. That's with 205/55/15 tires on...and the entire wheel well is filled.

p.s. I run 205/35/17 in the summer.

no way...the lower the better it will look, the only thing to consider is if you will ever have to go over speed bumps or have ****ty roads to drive on all the time. other than that keep it as low as possible so it looks sick!!
