Re: Tickets
Speeding, 69 in a 55, which is crap because there were people going much faster than i was. And i got two tickets for a bad inspection sticker. Also a ticket for "improper muffler." The cops arround here only give tickets if its going to make the town money. and they pull people over for anything. I have no reservations about calling them worthless in general, as police and people.

Re: Tickets
Ive never gotten a ticket, but I know where the speed traps are, and I know my car looks like a rice rocket. The damn cops drool when they see a car like ours. I've had cops follow me for a mile or 2

Re: Tickets
I've gotten so many tickets in both of my MX-3s. I once had to pay $1400 in tickets, and $900 another time. I had a revoked license for 2 years after only having my license for 7 months. I just got my license back 2 months ago. I've gotten illegal tint, led lights on my hood, exhaust tickets, parking tickets galore, and lots of speeding tickets, a few no insurance tickets (that were later dropped), driving without a license and getting into an accident, driving with a revoked license a few times, and DWH...Driving While Hispanic. haha j/k (somewhat). NYPDs been really crazy with tickets ever since 9/11, they need money badly. I've been caught speeding doing like 120 in a 55 and more than a few times doing over 85 in 55mph zones, but at least I don't drink and drive...

Re: Tickets
I have been pulled over twice, once doing 43 in a 25 and the other time I was going 84 in a 65 zone. I didnt get a ticket either time. My friend who drives an Accord gets a ticket at least once a month. Poor bastard.

Re: Tickets
I've never gotten a ticket, i was pulled over about 4 years ago for 55km/h in a 40Km/h Zone and inproper stop, but it was a school zone and i wasnt paying attention cause i was having a conversation with a friend that i didnt even notice him following me and he as nice about it, plus it being my first offence, he let me go. I do remember he didnt have a radar, so i dont think he could legally give me a ticket by pacing me.
I also was pulled over a few months ago for my lcd screen, he said it was illegal, i said it wasnt (i read the traffic act a while ago to make sure), he gave me two options, a ticket or go to court. I though about it for 2 minutes, said i'd take it to court. Than he said he'd better not catch me with it on and walked away. I called his bluff and drove away. But legally i think i can drive with it on cause it doesnt say im not allowed to...the Minintry of Transportaion specifies that a TV is not allowed to be in view of the driver....i have a monitor, which is different, if they wanna get technical, i can get technical

Re: Tickets
Three speeding tickets last summer. All in radar traps.
But they were all reduced in court.

Re: Tickets
I have had a few tickets before I got my mx but only one speeding ticket in the mx. I was doing like 130 in a 100. It was a stupid chick cop who thought she knew everything. She didnt have a radar gun and wasent even close to me on the highway. She followed me around town for like 15 minutes finally pulling me over. She said she was going to give me a ticket for going 50 over!!! she claimed that because she was doing 140 to CATCH up to me that I was doing 150. I actually think she is retarded. Then right after she says this she is like "You just put on your seatbelt didnt you?" And I was like "What?" then "I just saw you put on your seatbelt when you were going up the road back there." I said to her "You must be crazy" then I opened the door to reveal the automatic seatbelts. At this point she was just looking for anything to ticket me on. Then she said "I have another officer to come write you a ticket for speeding and to test your tint in your front and back window and to measure your exhaust noise." Meaning that she COULDEN'T write tickets, probally because she didnt have the mental capacity for written language. Anyway dude shows up I argue with him about the back tint (you are allowd to have that here) and he is saying that it isnt tinted and that it is "blacked out" Whatever. Anyway I got a ticket for speeding, tint and "expanded exhaust port". Why dont they go do something useful instead of just being a drag on the economy. It also drives me nuts knowing that I so easily could have gotten away from her in my mx. I dont remember the last time I saw a 97 intrepid take a sharp turn at 160 on all season tires.
Btw, I also have a load of tint tickets.
But that comes with the territory. They are nothin.

Re: Tickets
Me and my friends last summer were driving to wildwood in 2 cars. I was in the front doing about 75-85 and my friend was following me. As I pass a car he does the same but gets to close to me and breaks real hard. Because he was switching lanes at the same time his car starts swirling and the next thing I see is him doing the F&F2 backward driving in a civic auto
. But anyway, now when ever i go to jersey I drive like this
.
