hmmm... What color interior????

Hey everybody... I've been checking out this site and board for the past few months and i finally decided to register! Well, my first question here is kindof an opinion... I have a teal (green) mx-3 and i was thinking about painting my interior. Like the dash and door panels. What color do u guys think i should get? I'm also thinking about getting the whole car painted Yellow so maybe keep that option of color open too... Well, i can't wait to hear from you so thanks in advance!

If I were you I would keep the car the same color or go with something pretty close to the original color.When you get your car painted a whole different color when you open the hood and open the trunk it will still be teal. and when a rock hits the car and chips the paint its gonna show up teal.

hey, well most people with the teal color, including myself paint their interior trim pieces silver. I personally think the two colors go good together, but i also am thinking of changing the color of my interior, and would also like to hear others opinions.<BR>thanks in advance, sorry its so long<P>chris

My Mazda is super jet black, I painted the interior a silver metalic color and it looks great. Although it also would probally look good if you went with the same color as your carr, so if you are going to paint it yellow, make the interior yellow. Good luck to you bro.<P> JRICH..

im thinking about goin orange cause i have that weird purpleish color and orange loks nice in it.im gonna get enons and the gauges orange and paint interior orange

cre8v mx3<P>I agree! Well you will get what you pay for.If you do get all the paint sanded off and get primer, do the engine bay, door seals, etc. you are looking at spending a whole lot more money than it would cost you than just repainting it a color something close to the original.

that's what it comes down to. you get what you pay for. the complete paint job(minus the engine bay) should be on average 1000-1500us. but it also depends on the type of paint you have. the engine bay is extremely time consuming(which equals more money) to paint.<P>i have the greenish color mx. do you think yellow would look good for the interior? like painting the front piece and console like the pic above? i'm trying to find out what i want to do the interior in and yellow seems to be the only color that goes good.<P>also, how hard do you think it would be to put the head unit where the heater/ac control is and put the heater/ac control in the glove box?

i HATE, repeat HATE yellow on green, esp. the color green that mx-3's come in. you're welcome to paint it that way, but i personally would retch. silver sounds cool, i'm gonna do that myself around christmas time, and maybe a royal blue. my 2 cents.

With green you cant go wrong with white or silver man, yellow looks like s--- though, trust me =) GOOD LUCK TO YOU
