i've see posts saying our flywheel is anywhere from 13-16 lbs.....although now that i think about it, it's probably the latter.

The fidanza makes your car rev like a motorcycle...if thats what you want, then go for it, there are downfalls htat i'm not willing to have in my car's driveability, the thing rev's plenty fast for my tastes.

I drove a fidanza in an MX-6 for 50k miles. I never had any complaints. I think it really woke the car up. Never regretted it for a moment.

Well, you'll get considerably more engine braking with the fidanza. I know most of you know this, but some wont.

Makes shifting a little more "involved" but nothing drasticly horrible.

high compression goes well with agressive cams. both will give you good gains but if you have both your gains will be much better

I honestly wasn't expecting much of a difference out of the Fidanza, but it really makes a very noticeable difference in acceleration, which I think is amazing. It really does make the care come alive. It also sounds amazing with a grounding kit. I was way sceptecal about that as well but the grounding kit makes the motor run so smoothly... i think both are well worth the money.

you can't shave them much or they will warp and crack. ask babyblue, he had a 13.5lbs(?) and it broke after 4 months I think...

Mine didn't get more high-pitched, just more smooth.

I forgot to mention drivability with the Fidanza. I was actually pretty concerned about it. It's just as easy to drive as stock, though, I can't actually tell the difference between it and the MX-3 one in drivability. Maybe if you're a girly-clutcher you might have trouble coordinating it, or it might be more difficult with a k8, but really for a ZE it's no trouble at all.

2: full catback w/free-flow cat
3: headers
4: regrinded ZE cams
5: motor mounts / poly control-arm bushings

0:Millenia IM count?
1:check
2:coming soon
3:check
4:maybe later, way later
5:check
and some...but I still only expect a mid-low 14 on a good run
Also, does a ground wire kit really make that much of a difference? I'd never really heard much about them on this site before. Can't you make your own grounds w/out the kit, like a DIY?

Any autoparts store will sell ground straps. Buy a couple for a few bucks and have a blast. I persoanlly think they make no difference. The only one that really counts is the one from the battery to the body. The motor is ground nine ways till sunday and ading another strap I doubt does much.

you could prolly gain a lil more hp w/some 11:1 CR pistons, and maybe a stroker kit...but who knows who makes one of those. probably have to be custom. but if youre wanting to build up the motor w/o FI, go for it!
