MX3 GS RIP OFF

I went out looking at some MX3's today (As I always do, looking for nice ones in good condition) and I ended up at 888 Auto Sales in Vancouver on Kingsway looking at this one.<p>93 GS<p>When the sales guy came to talk to me, he told me it was in great condition, no accidents, and it looked it to me. The interior was in great shape; all customized with a few cigarette burns around the sunroof, no big deal. I asked him if he had the keys and I started it up. BIG MISTAKE. As it started, it idled at around 3000 RPM. I told him about it and he said it just needed to warm up. I gave him the benefit of the doubt (Knowing he was full of sh*t of course!) and waited till the fat turned on, (About 5 minuets). When the idle didn’t die down he said when I started to drive it, it would go down (Yeah right!). He then turned it off saying the idle was adjustable too. I popped the hood and started to look at the plug wells, all were good except cyl #1 (Front left?) As I pulled the plug wire out, I could hear a LOUD AS HELL suction noise, followed by a burst of oil that jumped about two inches! The well was full of oil! He said it was from the recent oil change, and the mechanics just didn’t clean it up (Uh huh, And dogs don’t lick their butts!) I told him it wasn’t, because the oil was a thick black sludge, and that the gasket was probably blown. He insisted that it wasn’t, and that it was new oil (Because NEW oil is back as night and thick as mud right! ROFL!). I then checked the coolant and found it was almost a nasty sludge as well. (Dont these guys check their vehicals before they sell them?) He then tried to sell it to me for $500 less then the asking price. ($9000 in the window, $6800 in their advertisement, so I assume he wanted $8500) He then got his manager (I assume) and started to speak Arabic with him. I told him I would give him $2000 for it (Thinking I would try and scam him for a change) and he closed the hood and told me to get lost and never to come back! Hahahah, What a joke!!<p>I remember I saw this car for sale there about 2 months ago, and its no wonder it hasnt sold. I dont think the language he was speaking is the topic at hand. Anyway...It's too bad salesman are like that. It's so funny too because they assume they are talking to someone who is ignorant of the subject. Thats why i love going to used car dealerships and talking about the mx-3s they have(which is very rare since i can hardly find them).

I dont mean to sound racist by saiying they were speaking in arabic, but I grew up in a rich area of North Vancouver where alot of them live, and went to school with alot of people from that part of the world. So I hope I was able to learn what the language sounds like. <p>But what a joke, Just to be told never to come back was the punch line.

Yeah, I've been junking a car at a junkyard, and the guy is talking about it, and he says that he had another MX-3, buy he's talking about an MX-6. He thinks that 4cl's are MX-3's, and V6 are MX-6's. That was a good laugh.

i am not racist, but arabs.....esp when selling cars, i wouldnt even consider them to clean my shoes, anyways i got good deal on my se from uncle, Id say it was just luck i got my first mx3 and its SE with all options

im selling my mx-3 for $3500 USD but its got a dent in the passenger quarter panel and a rip in drivers seat other then that its perfect.

im a stupid girl and so i bought a ****ty mx-3. but i'm slowly but surely rebuilding the whole farkin engine!<p>i only paid 1800, which was still a rip..but whatever.

HAHA spicy you too?? nah. i didn't get ripped TOO bad...err. but when i would go to dealerships i always had to bring a GUY friend cos...dealers treat girls like C**P. they point out stupid things like "the ac works great." as if im a moron and i don't know anything about recharging ac systems with leaks in em? can't believe the cars they try to sell out here sometimes. you guys would have LAUGHED your arses off if you had seen the conditions of the mx3s i found here. and heard all the stuff the dealers were tryin to feed me cos im a chick. ICK.
