which filter?

Post by Mastirmynd »

Ok, i have a typical cone filter, and a weapon R filter. Which one do you all think will perform the best. I honestly cant tell any difference between the two when i drive, except that the weapon R has more of a gurr noise to it. Any opinions?

If you can't tell the difference than pick one. Not to be rude, but either way you look at it you have an extra filter you can't use. K&N are somewhat easier to clean but they drip off the recharger quick, WeaponR will drip a little and be a lil louder, but you won't waste as much.

It Growwwls at about 3500 RPMS. Cars does seem to be a little bit quicker though. Just my opinion. Madjeep

Heya its a cone filter - and its huge - fill the space left by the air box sounds like a LPT when u punch it too lol check out greenfilters.com they even make a twin cone system for the RS which Im sure we could play with to fit the V6.. Sorry to hear bout your paint work man - good excuse to go for a pertrol/purple flip - TVR style lol ok maybe not.... take care mate
