Thermostat help Please!

Post by Kurt »

My temp gauge is running hot, the gauge is at 3/4 and the car is not over heating but it is not usually this hot. A friend thinks it might be the thermostat. I have a new one but dont know where the old one is located? If someone could please!! send me a pic of where to look or suggest another cause it would be greatly appreciated!!!<BR> <BR>'93 GS E-mail to kurtgunnis@hotmail.com

I had to replace the pipe to the thermostat housing. Here is where it was on my GS. Look between the distributor and radiator fans towards the ground. From the bottom of the radiator there is a pipe that runs under the distributor and changes over to a metal pipe and runs into the thermostat housing connected to the engine block. its in there. the metal pipe is connected by one bolt and plugs right into the thermostat housing. at least that is where it is one my car.
