Intake manifold.......so many choices.

Post by 93 mx-3 gs/se »

I am shortly going to order a KL-ZE and put it in a 93 gs stick. I know the throttle body will hit the brake booster so I am considering the possibilities. There is the probe 2.5 KL-03 manifold, there is my 1.8 manifold but I think I will lose some power, yes/no? Then isn't there a MS800 manifold and a millienia manifold. I don't know anything about them. I have heard that they are expensive and hard to locate. I read on here that someone chopped and welded their KL-ZE manifold to make it fit by the brake booster. Any info you guys could give me would be great. :)

IF YOU USE THE 1.8 MANIFOLD YOU WILL HAVE ALOT OF LOW END TORQUE BUT YOU WILL SACRAFICE PEAK HP. YOU CAN GET THE MS8 MANIFOLD FROM CORKSPORT THATS WHAT I AM RUNNING ON MY KL-ZE AND IT WORKS WELL.
You can just call me the originator
