Changing Spark plugs
Changing Spark plugs
I am trying to change my plugs but after I loosen them I can't get them out because they are so far down in the head is there a special tool that I can use to get them out? Also once I get them out what is the best way to install the new ones so I don't cross thread them.

Re: Changing Spark plugs
if youre using a spark plug socket, like youre supposed to, it has a rubber washer in there that will pull the plug out.
And just be careful upon putting the new ones in there.

Re: Changing Spark plugs
..and make sure you put the plugs in the same holes you took them out of
Re: Changing Spark plugs
You can use a magnet to pull them out. The expandable ones for picking thing up works great. If not try a screw driver the type with changable bits are normally magnetic and may work.
Grim
