exhaust

Post by cmx3d »

yea i know this is like my 30th question about which exhaust i should get but i wanna get the right one....
ive heared alot of different types of exhaust i should get, but everyone is telling me something different. i want a good sounding exhaust system(everything after the catalitic converter) that is styless and cheap. and maybe a gain of hp and or torque is possible. Monza is the cheapest i've seen and my friend who has a crappy geo storm has it on his and his sounds pretty good but i want mine louder. anything recomended besides monza, flowmaster, 3A racing?

If you want cheap go with the Monza...It sounds fine, not too loud, but really sounds best in the upperlow to mid rpm range( atleast with out a CAT). One more thing, "my friend who has a crappy geo storm" , WHY EVEN COMPARE?????

I ordered this Pace Setter from J.C.Whitney for $144 USD, not a bad price and it includes everything from the CAT back designed for the MX-3.
Follow the links for more info, one is for J.C. Whitney the other for Pace Setter.
They are the same muffler despite the difference in PICS the bottom PIC is the actual Muffler that comes when shipped. The exhaust pipes shown are for an MX-6, but this thing is sitting in my living room (Just got it)and the muffler is the same.
[ October 28, 2001: Message edited by: Justin Evans ]
