Re: Decided not to get rid of my baby

The tiburon and genesis bumpers are essentially the same
With the exception of the plate mount being in different positions
The tiburon bumper I could probably score for a better price of course

Re: Decided not to get rid of my baby

Haha glad u guys like it
The end product may look a little different but overall that's the look I'm going for
Plus if I can restore the miata front I think it'll flow perfectly together
I want a modern look that doesn't scream rice
Hopefully it works out the way I intend it to

Thanks for all the ...

Re: Decided not to get rid of my baby

Haha thanks guys!
dual exhaust would be my only option with a genesis/tiburon rear diffuser im afraid
unless i patch up the other exhaust hole of the diffuser
but thatll throw off the symmetry which i dont want
ill rig up a photoshop and you guys can tell me what you think then

PS with a dual ...

Re: miata goodness

Its fixable i think
I took a look at it the other day and the damage isn't too extensive
All the fiberglass and bondo damage made it seem a lot worse then it was
I'm gonna rebuild and maybe go to black.

Re: miata goodness

its a miata lip custom fitted and molded to the mx3 bumper.
well, was... unfortunately the bumper is totaled now.
i hit a snow bank a while back when it was really icy and horribly disfigured it!
ill post pics of it when the time comes for me to either decide to scrap it or try and salvage it ...

Okay,

Re: Front end swap,,,,please photoshop mx3 escort,

I can do a photoshop for you
but its not gonna work in real life.
a lot of custom work will have to go in to making that front end fit
and it will prob look worse then what you started with.

Re: HID

So I can achieve same quality of light with ebay projectors?

the third pic down that flyer posted is what they will look like when the spyder projectors are installed :)
i thought it was said that the "hotspot" above the spyder projectors was due to glare from the water in that pic...?
either way ...

Re: Ebay Headlights.

you can actually see the gap on the side of your lights as well, sizzle. i agree, they look better, but the 1) fitment is definitely off, and 2) the cutoff is wrong. and i guess if you care about such things, there's no DOT stamp. overall, they're hard to recommend...

i agree,
i wouldn't ...

Re: Ebay Headlights.

I'm sorry but that's such a horrible pic, I can't tell where the beam is coming from. Plus that truck's in the way!
it was taken with a 2 megapixel camera phone in the summer to show that the cutoff isnt stepped thats all.
besides its not like the cutoff line is gonna unpredictably zigzag where ...

Re: Ebay Headlights.

i dont notice a huge gap
i like the look of these over the spyder ones but there a few drawbacks to each.. (no DOT on these!)
