That's exactly why i don't want to hook up my speakers to the amp, just the sub. I replaced the rear speakers by 2 MTX 6.5" speakers and they produce enough sound for me. I just need to replace the front ones aswell.

I've looked around on the internet and i think i'm gonna get the Sony XM-SD61X ...

Optimal Amp

Hi guys,

I'm planning on installing a sub and amp in my MX-3. I already know which sub it's gonna be;

Sony XS-LD125P5. It's a 12" 1400W max and 400W nominal sub.

My only question is; what kind of amp do i need to power a sub like this? I'm not planning on connecting my 4 interior speakers onto ...

Well, it just so happens i got a letter today saying it turned out to be my fault after all, blah blah blah..

Guess i'm paying for the repairs myself after all. I'll just save up some money and have it done by a professional..

I'm not sure if i'm going to be paying. It just happened yesterday and i still have to fill in the back of the forms and mail it to the insurance company.

But besides that, i just want to fix what i can, because it bothers me. If it turns out my insurance will cover the repairs, then i will get a ...

Damage to my car

Hi yall,

I had a small accident last night. A truck hit me in a traffic jam. Wasn't my fault at all  Now my black and (less) beautifull MX-3 has a small dent and a few scrapes on the left side, between the door and the rear wheel. I'm not sure if my insurance policy will cover this, so i ...

Thanks a lot guys!

I used a hairdryer to remove the decals and it worked like a charm. Took me about half an hour, but it got the job done.. Just need to remove the glue remains and then use carpolish to make my ride bling even more ;) Black is beautifull..

Such a shame.. It would look awesome on the MX-3. Aren't there any other taillight units for the MX-3, besides the black and chrome Altezza's? If so, pics please...

LED-style taillights

Hi yall,

I was wondering.. Lately i've been seeing those LED-style taillights on the new Volkswagen Golf. Is a similar taillight unit available for the MX-3? If so, where could i find more info on it..

Greetz,

Frankly, i'm kind of hesitant to be standing in front of my house with a damn hairdryer in my hands.. What about my reputation 8) Perhaps i can find a more secluded area to do this ;)

By the way, to get the remains of glue off my car there are lots of substances that dissolve the glue, but isn't ...

Original Wing

Hello peeps,

Does anyone know where i can find the original wing for the MX-3? I've got a MX-3 without wing and i like the looks of the standard wing..

Greetings,

Removing Decals

Greetings to you all,

I just bought my MX-3 a couple of weeks ago, but there's one thing that bothers me. It had these hideous decals on the side. I've been trying to remove them this weekend, but it took me about an hour to remove just a little bit (i tried it with my fingernails). Does any of you ...

Thanks for the advice, i'll try to jack the car up and see what i can find this weekend. Could this problem, assuming it's the callipers and so on, become worse when i keep driving my car? Because i don't have the funds yet to get someone to check it out or get it fixed..

Car doesn't brake as it should

Dear fellow MX-3 owners,

I just bought my first car about 3 weeks ago. It's a Mazda MX-3, 1.6i with 174k kilometers on it. When i went to check it out, it looked great and i didn't notice anything strange during the testdrive. However, i've been driving it every day for 3 weeks and it's starting to ...
