I'd check for spark first before getting all excited. If no spark, do the HEI conversion. Don't waste your time and money on a rebuilt / used disty. I just did mine, and it's the best money spent so far!

Try AC Delco p/n 510-690, list price is around CDN $70 each, but you should be able to find them cheaper. Put some on my ride this winter, and my head never felt soooo good!! :lol:

Question: why did you choose organic over semi-met or ceramic?? I thought that you'd get better braking with these than the organics. Especially if you do auto-x?!?

YES, almost all cars (except toyota) use a standard 18mm x 1.5 thread, the other size is 12mm x 1.25, but I have yet to see a car that uses that.

Just purchased my car this june, took her for a test drive about 5 years ago when my brother in law bought it.... told him if he ever wanted to sell it to see me first... didn't think it would take him sooooo long to get tired of it.
