Had my alternator and battery replaced since the Charge light came on, didn't have any problem since, except slow start during cold times (below -20), but I guess it's juste part of livin in Canada.

But still, I don't understand why a I had a heated-easy-to-start engine, and when it came to the ...

Is it normal that the tire has a little bump where the tire touch the ground? I can put the max PSI and it still looks like it dosen't have enough air.

Yeah, it got better. Times when I'm only driving 10 minutes, I'm not starting the audio system, so it recharges, and I don't have any problems.

Thx!

2L? They said they had to put like 5.7L in it!

And when it comes to car, I'm really not a 'do-it yourself'er.

And I don't think Mazda would carry synthetic if that's not what's originally in the car.

Hehe, well, like you and Ammco said, there is no filter for the transmission. So I had to only change the oil. But in my surprise, synthetic was in the tank, so I had to put the same type. Nyway, never realized how complicated it can be compared to an engine oil change...

I was wondering if that's the way that they do. So the oil is never new?

And should I put a new filter at 195 000.

But anyway, I'm going to Ammco to change the filter and oil, better safe that sorry.

Transmission transfusion?

As I have heard, that method is pushing the old tranny oil to put new one. But still, it should mix, right?

I have 195 000 km, should I change the filter as well?

Thx a lot!

With 33$ of 100.9 fuel, I can do 270 km in the city. Pretty much the average MX-3 when I check other topic.

Gimme a break! :@

I just had replaced the alternator and the battery on my 94, I'm at my second day, and I already notice slower winter start-up. What in the hell can be the problem! Could it be the 'distributor'? My JL amp? (which I don't think a amp can burn an alternator that fast) Thankx :'(

Do you think a transmission tune-up would do the job? I have the exact same problem, and I'm due. The only thing different that I realized is that 'CHARGE' lights up when I touch the brake, barelly noticeable, just saw it because it was dark. (even parked)

Wow, still awake?

Yeah, I could use the block heater, but I heard if you start using that, the engine is really hard to start without it, like, the engine is getting addicted to the block heater, if I can say it that way.

New battery?

I think I need a new battery, but just to make sure it's not the alternator, I wanna ask you guys.

Winter just came in, and the starter is running the engine way slower than in summer. It's still starts, but it's just a week of two before I'm stuck at home or at work. If the engine hot, the engine ...

It took you maybe two minutes to write your phrases, and that's all I needed to be able to properly clean my headlights.

Cleaning headlight so easy?

I was looking at the FAQ to be able to clean my headlights, (because they are really brownish) and I was surprised that it was the outside that was dirty, not the inside. Did I understand well?

Thanks,
JP :)

Is the rack and pinion boot the rubber next to the wheel and the brake system? If it's that, with my hands, I really can't find a crack anywhere. (Told me there was a little crack somewhere)
