Unfortunately, the mx-3 isn't a big name in the tuner scene. This affects the demand for the mx-3. Most ppl that buy them, don't want to spend big bucks for them. That and the fact that the last year produced was 10 years ago doesn't help matters much. I have no idea why the aftermarket wasn't all ...

Just wondering were is it that these shims go. I have the DZ coilovers and not sure were it is that these would go.

They would go on the top and bottom of the spring for a nice tight fit. I'm pretty sure they would fit any coilovers for the mx-3, protege and escort.

The cage was put in to make up for the rigidity lost with the hatch and sunroof. Safety was also a concern but since my gs had a sunroof, the rollbar was very close to my head. This could actually be very dangerous b/c your head would split open if you are caught in a serious ...
