Suspension bumpstop question

for the suspension, the way it is setup on my car and the way it shows it in the book is diff.

in my car the bumpstop is up by my strut mounts all around the car, in the book it shows the bumpstop as down by the wheel. Which one is correct?

Thanks for the replies,

I'll be propping up my car here shortly, buying a couple stands today.

I had my CV joints checked the other day in the shop and they were fine, and I have new springs/struts in the front which are fine, aligned and tight.

cars at higher altitudes

quick question for ya's...at higher altitudes cars are not as fast I believe right? If that is true, do cars actually burn more fuel at higher altitudes in any way? I was thinking about it, and was wondering if this would be true.

Thanks guys
